We live by a "Safety First" approach at Safe Chem. Our customized Safety Training Presentation is the first step in keeping your facility and your employees safe. The only way to properly handle chemicals is by understanding how they work, how they interact, and how to respond to any given situation.

The proper protective gear is essential to an individual's safety when working with chemicals. As part of our safety training program, we not only show the coorect gear to wear around chemicals, bu we educate you on the proper way to wear it, and in which situation it's necessary in your plant.

Safety Equipment

Knowing where safety equipment is located and being familiar with how to utilize it is vital for every supervisor and emplyee to know. We will survey your facility and ensure that all safety equipment is fully functional and all chemical storage areas are being maintained to guarantee your safety.

Cleaning Surface

Determining the type of surface you're cleaning is one of the first steps in knowing which chemicals should be utilized for sanitizing. Whether the surface is stainless steel, plastic, painted steel, or concrete, we will make sure you are able to select the best chemical to use in order to achieve maximum results.

Product Labels & Information Sources

Many chemical product labels look very similar. It is extremely important to read all labels carefully and familiarize yourself with the product, the hazards, first-aid treatment as a result of exposure, proper mixing methods (refer to tech data sheet), and the proper safety gear required.

Your best sources of information regarding safe handling of chemicals are the Tech Data sheet and the Safety Data sheet. The Tech Data sheet gives you specific instructions on proper mixing and dilution rates of the chemical while the Safety Data sheet (SDS) informs you on proper protocol in the event of exposure.
